Five arrested after 'public order incident' in Mullingar

Gardaí arrested four men and one woman during a public order incident on Dominic Street in Mullingar yesterday evening. The incident took place at approximately 8pm.

Three of the people arrested have been released and are the subject of a Fixed Charge Notice (FCN). The remaining two were dealt with by way of adult caution.

Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing at this time.
