The principal, deputy principal and staff at Wilson’s Hospital School offered "massive congratulations to all of the students in the Class of 2024", as they received their Leaving Cert results on Friday

Deputy principal Mr Galligan said this year’s results were remarkable and show the resilience and talents of the young adults in this year. He, along with the entire school community, are proud of them all, he said.

There were 63 students in the Class of 2024, and more than one third of them received 500 points or better. Four students achieved more than 600 points. Almost half (48%) of the students achieved more than 450 points. The percentages have increased from last year across the board and the school community are delighted for the students.

Mr Galligan thanked all the teachers and staff at Wilson’s, in particular the families who have supported the students from the beginning of their education. "These results reflect how your guidance and commitment to the students’ overall development, both academically and personally, inside and outside the classroom, have truly paid off," he said.

The Wilson’s community eagerly anticipate seeing Class of 2024 at past pupil association events in the future and hope they stay connected to the school as their journey in life continues.
