Male arrested in connection with indecent exposure incidents at diving boards

A male has been arrested in connection with a number of alleged indecent exposure incidents at the diving boards.

A garda spokesperson confirmed to the Westmeath Examiner a short time ago that the male was arrested earlier today and is currently before the courts.

The spokesperson said that Mullingar Garda Station had received a number of reports in recent weeks about a male allegedly exposing himself at the popular bathing site and that investigating officers had been following a "definitive line of inquiry".
