Eoghan Conlan’s rugby journey is a story of hard work, talent, and a deep love for the game. He began playing rugby with Mullingar Rugby Club in 2012 when he was just six years old. From the start, it was clear that Eoghan had a natural gift for the sport.
Over the years, he became a key player for his team, always giving his best on the field. Eoghan’s dedication to rugby led to bigger opportunities. He was selected to play for the Midlands team in the Shane Horgan Cup, a competition that highlights young rugby talent.
His impressive performances caught the attention of selectors, and he earned a place on the Leinster U18 Clubs team. Competing at this level, Eoghan continued to stand out with his skill, determination, and leadership. Eoghan’s journey didn’t stop there. He went on to represent Ireland at the U18 Clubs level, a huge achievement for any young athlete.
He also played for the Ireland U18 Sevens team, where his speed and game intelligence made him a key player in the fast-paced world of Sevens rugby. Eoghan’s rise from playing on local fields in Mullingar to representing Ireland on the international stage is truly remarkable.
