Two of the most respected figures on the local sporting scene received Hall of Fame Awards at the Westmeath Examiner Community and Sports Awards at the Mullingar Park Hotel on Thursday evening.

Mullingar Rugby Club's Mick Lambe and Mullingar Shamrocks stalwart Terry O'Dowd have been recognised for their decades of selfless service to their clubs.
