A large crowd attended the inaugural Westmeath Examiner Community and Sports Awards, which were held in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Thursday evening.

In partnership with Westmeath County Council, the Community and Sports Awards celebrate the groups and individuals that play a central role in our community.

The overall award award went to the Irish Road Victims Association (IRVA).
