New manager continues legacy of Clypso Salon

Marion Reilly, long serving owner of Clypso Salon in Mullingar, is moving on this week, and handing over to a new manager at the business, Daiva Racinskiene.

Marion, owner and founder, said that her last day is Saturday next, September 14, but the doors won’t be closed for long, as Daiva, well known in the area from Daili Hair and Beauty, will open them again on Monday.

Marion extended her gratitude to the loyal customers who have supported Clypso over the years since it opened on October 2, 1989: “I want to express my deepest thanks to all the staff of Clypso Salon. Your dedication, hard work, and professionalism have been the foundation of our success.

“I am truly grateful for everything you have done to make Clypso what it is today.”

Marion also thanked the suppliers who have had a crucial role in the success of Clypso. “I want to personally thank Barry and the staff at Des Maguire, and Fiona from Xpert, for their unwavering support and partnership throughout the years. Your contributions have been invaluable, and I am truly grateful.”

As Clypso transitions to new management, Marion invites the community to continue supporting it as it enters a new chapter.

“It has been an honour to serve the people of Westmeath, and I look forward to seeing the salon thrive under new leadership,” she said.

Daiva, in turn, thanked Marion and said she is looking forward to getting started next week and getting to know the Clypso regulars. She wished Marion well for the future.
