Planning lodged for major new housing development in Kilbeggan

Planning permission is being sought for a 74 unit housing development in Kilbeggan.

The planning application lodged recently by Pat O'Sullivan includes details for the construction of 44 three-bed houses, 14 four-beds and four two-beds, as eight two-bed apartments and four one-beds on a site at Abbeybrook.

The application also includes details for the provision of a public open space, new vehicular and pedestrian access to the site, and works to a distributor road serving the Abbeybrook estate, including the installation of a pedestrian crossing.

The decision due date is November 14.
