Big-hearted Bradley is a cut above
A big-hearted Mullingar boy recently helped two charities when he had his first haircut in three years.
When ten year old Bradley Duffy decided to get his hair cut, he said that he would like to donate it to charity.
Bradley and his mother Lisa decided that he would take part in the Locks of Love for LauraLynn fundraising initiative. Not only did he raise €330 for LauraLynn, Ireland's children's hospice, his long pony tail was also donated to The Little Princess Trust, which provides free, real hair wigs to both children and adults who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
Bradley, who got his hair cut in Dapper Shams, was delighted to be able to help out two charities that do such great work for sick children.
"Why wouldn't I donate to charity. It's nice to help people when they are sick," he said.
