Tools worth €1,000 stolen

Gardaí are investigating the theft of a quantity of tools from a home in the Rathconrath area last weekend.

The tools, which had an estimated value of approximately €1,000, had been stored in a shed at the property.

The owner discovered the theft around 11am on Sunday.

Separately, three motorists were arrested over the weekend on suspicion of drink driving offences, according to An Garda Síochána.
