The Tyrrellspass Tidy Towns committee decided to conclude and celebrate another busy year with a repeat of last year’s popular Halloween Fancy Dress Ball.
Volunteers and their families and friends gathered on Saturday, October 26, and lit up the weekend with spooky style and sensational costumes. The event, held in Gounod’s, drew a crowd eager for an evening of thrilling entertainment, featuring a raffle and costume contest with prizes.
Costume Contest: first prize, Anthony Brady, dressed as a Bride; second, Michelle Coleman as a Skeleton (with hat); third, Geraldine and Enda Keegan as an Indian couple
The night, hosted by Declan Feery, delighted attendees and celebrated community spirit and support.
Looking ahead to the festive season, Tyrrellspass Tidy Towns invite all to the annual Christmas draw on Sunday December 21, which is being overseen by Olive Glynn.
