Allure of West End coming to Mullingar for Cluain Lir gig

Mark Irwin, Lauren Allan and special guests from the West End are coming to Mullingar with what will be a memorable evening of music - from Hollywood blockbusters to show tunes and everything in between. The is a charity concert in aid of Cluain Lir.
The Mullingar star said: “I’m looking forward to coming back to the arts centre with a concert this year – I’ve always enjoyed coming home and performing for everyone.
“This time I will be joined by my partner Lauren Allan, who has just finished a run in Tina Turner the musical in the West End. We plan on bringing the shining lights of the West End to town with a mix of show tunes, movie blockbusters and a few surprises.
“We will be inviting the talented Nathan Daly (a Mullingar local), who has been performing in an Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash hit musical, Starlight Express in Germany.
“I’m excited that he will join us and showcase his talent."
“Also, my sister Laura Irwin will be joining us, and I always look forward to hearing how everyone reacts to her amazing soprano sound."
“This year we are raising money for a fantastic charity, Cluain Lir, and we’re very happy to have them on board with us this year.”
Sweet Tunes, directed by Angie Lynch, will open the show.
