St Camillus Memory Boxes presented to nursing centre
Members of the Killucan Area Men’s Shed have presented St Camillus Nursing Centre with 43 memory boxes they have made. There is a box for each of the residents and their names are engraved on the boxes.
The idea is that family members place items in the box which might help to bring back old memories. Photographs, newspaper cuttings, medals, a book, perfume, aftershave or a music box are a few of the many items you might find in a memory box to help jog the memory.
The boxes also have St Camillus Nursing Centre Forget-me-not flowers and ‘Think of the good times’ engraved on the lids.
