P'Lattes event for official launch of Pilates N91

Jill Kiernan has opened the first Reformer Pilates studio in Mullingar, Pilates N91, and welcomed Aoife Lennon from Vanilla Matcha Pilates to launch the business on Sunday.

Jill, Aoife and their guests were in great form when the Westmeath Examiner called in to find out more about Pilates N91, which is located at the Bellview Building on the Dublin Road (beside Cool Beans, just past Apple Green and Aldi).

Jill explained: “We teach just over 40 a classes week. There’s a huge interest in reformer at the moment - it’s become quite popular, especially because of social media.

“We teach men only classes, we teach mum and baby classes, we teach different levels. People come with injuries because the reformer is great, it’s low impact, and it can help with back and different pains and conditions.

“So we’re running an event today with Vanilla Matcha Lattes and Aoife, from Limerick (whose events are styled P’Lattes).

"She’s here for the day, she’s teaching the classes and she brought goodie bags, and we were sponsored by local businesses – the Skin Shop sponsored us, Aligned sponsored our socks, and everybody’s coming together today, doing a bit of Pilates, having some coffees, socialising.”
