St Mary’s stalwart Angela Moran was the popular winner of the Sheila Lyster Hall of Fame Award at this year’s Westmeath LGFA awards, held in The Village Barn in Tyrrellspass on Friday night.
Westmeath LGFA posted on social media, that new Hall of Fame entrant Angela “has demonstrated her outstanding dedication at both club and county on an ongoing basis for years”.
“She tirelessly commits her time and energy by going above and beyond in varying roles and responsibilities.
“Her attendance and involvement at meetings at both club and county levels has developed and fostered a strong foundation and collaboration among members and the greater community.
“Angela is a true inspiration and positive role model both within her mentoring and administrative roles. She has established practices that enhance the experience and development of all within the club.
“Her enthusiasm and commitment to the club and LGFA ethos and genuine passion to help others is palpable and contagious.”
