Coleen Rooney is the latest celebrity to gain support on this year’s I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, with the Liverpudlian now rated just 2/1 by BoyleSports to leave the jungle as the 2024 winner.
The bookie said Rooney, who was dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’ after a legal dispute with fellow WAG Rebecca Vardy, is now second favourite to be crowned jungle royalty behind McFly songster Danny Jones (6/4), who continues to remain a firm favourite.
Model and ex-Love Island resident Maura Higgins has drifted out to 10/1 (from 6/1) despite having I’m a Celebrity fans in stitches, with Reverend Richard Coles also a prime contender for the jungle crown at 9/4.
Former world champion boxer Barry McGuigan dodged a knockout punch from the public when skirting around elimination as Dean McCullough was axed, but the Irishman could be sent packing this week as he is rated an outsider of the 10 remaining stars, alongside BBC Radio 1’s Melvin Odoom at 200/1.
Spokesperson for BoyleSports, Brian O'Keeffe, said: “Danny Jones continues to be this year’s frontrunner to be crowned King of the Jungle, but he may yet have a battle on his hands as punters think Coleen Rooney or Reverend Richard Coles could be the answer to their prayers.”
