VIDEO: Johnny Joyce sings hit Christmas single ahead of Late Late Toy Show appearance

Young Johnny Joyce dropped into the Westmeath Examiner office earlier today to sing his hit single, Santa Grant A Wish, ahead of his appearance on The Late Late Toy Show tomorrow night.

Johnny's father Christy said that his eight year old son is "over the moon" to be appearing on the biggest TV show on Irish television.

He will be representing his home county in an all-Ireland parade on the show.

"It's every kid's dream to appear on the Toy Show. He watches it every year and never thought he would be on it. It's brilliant," proud father Christy says.

It's been an eventful 12 months for Johnny, who only started singing this time last year. Since then he has appeared on stage with his heroes The Wolfe Tones, Dan McCabe and Seamus Moore.
