Christmas wreath project with Mullingar Lions Club

A group of ladies from Mullingar Harriers Athletics Club have teamed up for their second annual Christmas wreath-making project with Mullingar Lions Club on Sunday next, December 8, in the Harriers clubhouse.

The event takes place from 1pm to 4pm, and all materials are provided, and the experience last year created great Christmas spirit, among those who gathered to make garlands and table decorations.

As this is a busy time of year for Mullingar Lions Club, all proceeds from the day will help fund their food appeal and the dinners that will be provided on Christmas Day to the needy in the community.

Everyone is invited to go along and enjoy the experience, to create and make their own wreaths this Christmas.

Booking is essential for classes to ensure things run smoothly, at 086 881 9220 or 087 231 8525. The cost is €30, or €25 for OAPs and students.
