Frances holding charity art sale at Skelly's in Ballymahon
Artist Frances Kelleher is holding sale at Skelly’s, Ballymahon, and the proceeds will go to UNICEF and St Vincent de Paul. The sale is now open and it continues till Christmas. “Please support worthy charities and your local artist,” said Frances.
“If you’d like to enquire about or purchase any of the paintings, please phone me on 087 9913651 – or if you’re interested in art classes or joining Ballymahon Art Club – I live locally and will be glad to pop in to meet you as necessary.
“All paintings are my own original designs and work. Many are done on location and others from a combination of location sketches and photos then finished in studio.
“Over many years, I’ve done regular and FETAC art classes with adults and also those with special needs in Longford, locally and the surrounding towns, with children in primary and secondary schools. “I decided to offer sales proceeds of these entire works, 23 professionally framed pieces, to UNICEF and St Vincent De Paul, as at Christmas I always like to donate to charity, and this year I believe there’s exceptional need.
“A purchase for yourself or as a gift will have a threefold benefit for you, me, and the worthy charities. My wish is to take no piece back home! Then I’ll be spurred on to do more work! Also please spread the word far and wide!”
