Santa’s sleigh arrives at Holy Family under Massey power
Santa arrived in true traditional style to Holy Family Primary School on Tuesday last. Pupils from the school were ecstatic as Santa and his sleigh floated nicely down the Ardmore Road thanks to one of Santa’s elves and his Massey Ferguson tractor. When the sleigh turned in the gates of Holy Family, cheers of joy and excitement filled the air.
Pupils jumped for joy as Santa waved to them all from his sleigh. Following Santa’s few laps around the school grounds, pupils rushed back to their classrooms in anticipation of his class visit. Parents and staff were equally overjoyed with Santa’s arrival, admiring all the festive decor on both tractor and sleigh.
Santa dismounted his sleigh and greeted Mr Molloy, principal, with a big Christmas hug. Then Santa’s elves from the parents association took over and escorted Santa to all the classes.
Even though it is a hugely busy time of year for Santa, he gave time to meet and greet all the pupils.
Of course, Santa wouldn’t be Santa unless he brought a gift to every child, and let’s just say a lot of uneaten lunches went home that day as his selection boxes were just too tempting!
Mr Molloy cast a blind eye to the school’s healthy eating policy, as Santa rules…
Mr Molloy thanked Santa and his wonderful elves for making another magical memory for all the pupils.
