Formula One legend's past life working in a Mullingar bank

He is now one of the most recognisable figures in the world of Formula One, but did you know that Eddie Jordan's early working life included a period working in the Mullingar branch of the Bank of Ireland?

The above photo, which was published in the February 20 1971 edition of the Westmeath Examiner, features a very young Jordan along with his bank colleagues.

Jordan ran his own Formula One team between 1991 and 2005, before moving into the world of broadcasting.

Thanks to Gerry Buckley for the heads up about the photo.
