Mullingar launch men’s third team

Mullingar Rugby Club is thrilled to announce the official launch of their Senior Men’s Third Team, marking an exciting new chapter for the club. This addition follows the success and growing popularity of rugby at Mullingar, bolstered by the strength of the Senior Men’s First and Second Teams.

The new team will hold its first training session at 7.45pm this Friday at Shay Murtagh Park, and all players interested in joining are encouraged to come along.

Tony Doolan, Head of Rugby Development at Mullingar RFC, expressed his enthusiasm for this milestone. “On the back of the club’s recent successes and increasing numbers, we’re confident we can field a competitive third team. We also see the Anderson Cup within our grasp, making this a significant step forward for the club,” he said.
