Santa Truck funds for LauraLynn presented

Milltownpass Tidy Towns have donated an additional €2,000 to LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice to go along with the money raised when the Santa Truck visited the village in December.

On the night the Santa Truck team were there, €1419 was raised for LauraLynn from the Jingle Bells Disco and tuck shop and from the sale of festive treat boxes. Now the local Tidy Towns have added €2,000 from their funds.

A spokesperson for Milltownpass Tidy Towns thanked everyone who volunteered (45 locals in total), donated, supported, and joined in for the festive fun, and the sponsors who made the event possible.

Also, it is understood that the Santa Truck team have agreed to return to Milltownpass this year, 2025 – dates still to be confirmed.
