Moate choir plead for donations to the Join Our Boys Trust
Moate based choir An Cór Lár Tíre have made a plea for donations to the Join Our Boys Trust, as donation deadline approaches.
The cause is fundraising for a lifesaving operation for Roscommon brother's George and Isaac, who need to travel to the US to receive surgery on their hearts.
Their fundraiser has just five days remaining, with a total of €457,940 raised of their €650,000 goal.
The choir made donations to three local causes, including Accessible Counselling Tullamore, South Westmeath Hospice, and Join Our Boys Trust.
A total of €7,250 was raised following their Christmas Concert fundraiser, with €2000 being donated to both ACT and South Westmeath Hospice, and €3250 to the Join Our Boys Trust.
An Cór Lár Tíre are an adult community choir made up of approximately one hundred men and women.
The choir formed in September 2023, and has since had three concerts, and have raised a total of €19250 for nine charities in the Midlands.
