New sponsor for Ballynacargy junior footballers

The Ballynacargy junior football side will have new sponsors this season in the form of local man Gordon Maher, owner of GM PR & Entertainment Consultants.

Gordon is a former player with the club and a proud supporter of Bal' over the years. His nephews Dwayne and Troy Maher have been key players with the team for many years and Gordon has many friends involved on the team and with the club itself. Following confirmation of the sponsorship, he said he is proud to be supporting his local club and wished them every success in this year's Junior Football Championship.

The Ballynacargy GAA Club said: "We are delighted to announce our new Official Club Sponsor, Gordon Maher and GM PR & Entertainment Consultants.

"Gordon is a proud Ballynacargy man and his family are steeped in the history of the club since it’s very foundation. Gordon has expressed his great pride in becoming Official Sponsor of his home club. We would like to thank Gordon for his support and generosity and we welcome him on board as we move forward with great hope and optimism for the future of our club."

The new GM Entertainments sponsored home jerseys were worn for the first time by they junior team on Sunday morning when they played Maryland in a challenge match in Moynihan Park, Ballynacargy.
