Man dies after midlands traffic accident

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred at Daingean, Offaly, yesterday afternoon, Monday, February 10.

Shortly after 12pm, Gardaí and emergency services responded to a collision involving a single vehicle at Killaderry, Daingean.

The sole occupant of the car, a man in his fifties, was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
