On Monday night in Clarke's Bar in Mullingar, as part of the weekly Iarmhí TV podcast, Coláiste Mhuire's 2025 Bro Bosco Cup winning captain Matthew Thornton (Multyfarnham) met up with one of the school's heroes from their only previous triumph in the competition back in 1983, Paddy Walsh (The Downs). The show is regularly hosted by Ray Gavin, with Westmeath Examiner contributor Gerry Buckley a weekly panellist. Monday's episode went out live but can be watched back online. A detailed chat took place about the school's wonderful Leinster triumph with Matthew and one of the winning team's co-managers, Dean McNicholas (Tyrrellspass), while Paddy recalled the previous success from all of 42 years ago. The other guest on the night was Pat O'Brien (Castletown-Geoghegan).
