A Kind of Magic

Internal energy, magical plight,

Scare poor humans, mental fright.

Active mind, love to share.

Others tired, seem not to care.

--------

Extraverted magic, that powers my soul,

Kind of energy, completes, makes me whole

Try not frighten, or even scare,

Like uncontrollable, energetic bear.

--------

So magic, I share a bit at time,

Not scare or frighten, internal mine.

Share love of life, yes to all,

Even to those, who won’t play ball.

A Dull Day

Grey sky, rain fall yet repeat,

Puddles splash, children’s feet.

Another day, dull day effect style,

Feeling down, repeat boredom mile.

--------

Birds do sing, no raincoat wear,

Bathe themselves, without a care.

Miserable faces, surrounded me,

A child’s heart, full of glee.

--------

Adults dull, like day so grey,

What’s the point, some do say.

Grey is mood, cold as stone,

Tired this rock, of populated alone

Barista

Serving all those customers all

Some milk, their preference call

A hot drop of tea and a chat

Kind people, gently tip hat.

--------

Quick wit, important people yes

Some not see royalty, blind I guess

A kind word, a gentle smile

Quick wit, humour all the while.

--------

Thanks to you, brighten our day

Break monotony, lighten grey

You cappuccino warriors, tea too

Serving us just part that you do

Hope

The smallest glimmer

Drowning man’s straw

Heart attached

Happy brain saw

--------

A human trait

Seen by faith

Those who believe

Yes, think it’s great.

--------

Enthusiasm seen by man

A heavenly gift, grace

Scientist say

Yes, from outer space

--------

We little beings

On beautiful rock

We must have hope

Time tested clock

Peace

In the air, yes in the breeze.

Gentle acceptance, accept with ease.

Tied to love, inner peace,

A gift bestowed, never to cease.

--------

Birds sing, song in soul,

An inner strength that makes us whole.

A gentle breeze, calm of thought,

A gift bestowed that cannot be bought.

--------

So spread some peace, like butter to toast,

To those who care, who love you most.

Give some thought to others, time,

For peace can wait, no matter the crime.
