Westmeath star Danny McCartan has been selected on the GAA's Team of The Week following a fine display against Cork on Saturday last.

Danny, younger brother of Sam, scored 0-6 (three two-pointers) against The Rebels at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, in a game Westmeath lost by just a point, 3-18 to 3-17.

The St Loman's, Mullingar star will hope to be part of a winning team on Sunday as Westmeath face Cavan at TEG Cusack Park in round 4 of the NFL.
