Big turnout at St Loman’s fundraising table quiz

A big crowd turned out on Friday evening last for a table quiz in The Chambers to raise funds for the St Loman's underage set-up.

The event was a success with over €2,500 being raised on the night and through raffle ticket sales.

Speaking after the quiz, one of the organising team, Garry Penrose, thanked everyone who supported the event.

" It was a really good night and we are very happy with how it went. We'd like to thank everyone who attended the quiz, as well as everyone who bought raffle tickets. We'd also like to thank quiz master Adam Carroll, everyone in The Chambers and all of the local businesses and individuals (Teenkix, Chocolate Brown, Aspire Training, Wilfs, Presents, Keane's Healthpoint Pharmacy, Westmeath Examiner, Pita Pit, Apache Pizza, Brew 42, Belvedere Hills Nursery, Kilmurray's Hardware, Brian O'Loughlin, Aidan Davitt, KC Sports, Cool Beans, the Penrose family, The Bridge House Hotel, Back in Action Physiotherapy, Joint-It, Kerrigans, Dovida, David Reynolds, Claire Reynolds, and Frayne's Bakery) who sponsored prizes for our raffle. It is very much appreciated. "
