A special fundraising event took place in Sleator Kia for Mullingar based humanitarian organisation Tanzanian Heavenly Homes last week.
Entertainment on the morning was provided by country music singer Robert Mizzell. Those gathered enjoyed chat, coffee and a bit of dancing.
Carmel Byrne, who organised the event, and is returning to Tanzania for this year’s Heavenly Homes trip, said it was a huge success and it could only have been made possible with kindness and support from Criostoir and Emer Sleator and all who helped out on the day.
