A dramatic day of Allianz National Football League action is underway this afternoon.
Five teams went into the last round of fixtures of Division 1 of the Allianz National Football League with a chance of making the final.
Galway and Dublin are in pole position at the top of the table, they will play Kerry and Tyrone respectively this afternoon.
Both the Kingdom and the Red Hand need wins to ensure they stay out of the relegation battle.
Derry are already down and could bring Armagh with them while the final game sees Mayo come up against Donegal.
All those matches are underway.
Monaghan and Roscommon will play Division 1 Football next season.
They'll face off in the Division 2 league final despite neither side winning this afternoon.
Monaghan ended the day on top even after a 24-point to 2-17 loss to Down.
Roscommon finished second despite a 2-16 to 1-19 draw with already relegated Westmeath.
Down will join the Lake County in Division 3 next year after Louth survived thanks to a 1-19 to 17 point win over Meath.
Cavan ended their campaign with a 19 to 11 point win over Cork.
Kildare will face Offaly in the Division 3 final.
Both sides were promoted after wins over Antrim and Clare respectively.
That result means Antrim join winless Leitrim in the bottom tier after the latter suffered a 22 point loss to Sligo.
Fermanagh also had a 2 point win over Laois.
Limerick will play unbeaten Wexford in the Division 4 final.
The Treaty County strolled to a 4-24 to 1-17 win over Waterford this afternoon to book their passage to the decider.
James Naughton scored a massive 4-12 for Limerick today.
Wexford picked up their 7th win out of 7 with a 2-18 to 1-10 win over Longford.
Elsewhere Carlow beat London by a point and Wicklow had 7 points to spare over Tipperary.
Soccer
The Republic of Ireland are back in action this evening.
Heimir Hallgrimsson's side host Bulgaria in the second leg of their Nations League relegation playoff.
Ireland go into the game with a 2-1 aggregate lead.
Kick-off at the Aviva Stadium is at 7:45.
Athletics
Sarah Lavin has failed to advance to the women's 60m hurdles final at the World Indoor Championships in China.
The Limerick native finished 7th in her semi-final in a time of 8-point-1-4-seconds.
That meant the 31-year-old finished 17th overall of the 24 semi-finalists.
Golf
Shane Lowry is well in contention ahead of the final round of the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour this evening.
The Offaly native will tee-off from 5:15 Irish time from 5-under-par, in a tie for fifth and just two shots off the lead.
Seamus Power is 1-under ahead of getting his final round underway at 2:55.
Rugby
There's one game in the Guinness Women's Six Nations today.
Holders England entertain Italy from 3:00.

Lewis Hamilton has been disqualified from the Chinese F1 Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver was penalised for excessive wear on a rear skid plank in Shanghai.
Hamilton's team-mate Charles Leclerc (pron: Sharl Leclaire), who finished one place ahead in fifth, has also been thrown out because his car was found to be underweight.
Australian Oscar Piastri won the race, ahead of fellow McLaren driver Lando Norris.
