GALLERY: Petrolheads come together at Causey Farm for Cars and Coffee
The event ‘Cars and Coffee’ took place in Causey Farm on Sunday 30th of March, Athboy musician and car enthusiast Brian Mullen organised the day in support of Meath Hospice Transport and SOSAD.
“It's a great social event to get people together and because it's a big charity event as well. That's why we changed it around, as in not just to have cars and coffee, we opened it up to tractors, lorries, motorbikes and even music of some local artists,” said Brian Mullen.
The event featured a raffle and another opportunity to win with a competition where participants could guess how long a car would keep running without oil or water, The competition drew in a very eager crowd to see the results of who got the closed estimate. The car lasted 38 Minutes and 34 seconds and the competition was won by Bernie Murtagh.
With cars coming and going throughout the day, a great atmosphere and people enjoying amazing sunny weather the day was a great success.
