Gaelscoil an Choillín in Féile na Dramaíochta all-Ireland final

On Friday, Junior and Senior infants from Gaelscoil an Choillín were in the all-Ireland final of the Féile na Dramaíochta at Mullingar Arts Centre.

Féile na Dramaíochta is a drama competition for schools all around Ireland to take part in and promote the Irish language. All shows on stage are performed in Irish.

Gaelscoil an Choillín the only school from Westmeath to get through to the all-Ireland finals, after winning the midlands group and Leinster finals for the infants age group.

There were 56 children in total in the group.

“Each child who took part in the performance of the Gingerbread Man (A Fear Sinséir) was incredible and we are all so proud of them. All the children are patiently awaiting the results!” said one of their teachers.
