The Mullingar Lions Club Summer Cycle Challenge returns this year on its well established date, the Monday of the May bank holiday weekend (May 5).

The start point is, as before, Shandonagh GAA, and there is a choice of 40k and 90k routes.

Entry is €30; registration is at 8am and the cycle starts at 9am.

Proceeds from the summer cycle will go to a Lions Club project providing respite and support of families with special needs an autism.

Refreshments for the riders will be provided.
