Monday 14 April
Largely dry at first on Monday with sunny spells. Scattered showers will spread from the west and some will be of hail with the chance of isolated thunderstorms. Cloud will tend to increase from the southeast through the afternoon with rain possible in the southeast towards evening. Elsewhere, showers becoming isolated during the evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 Celsius. Moderate, locally fresh and gusty, southwest winds will ease later in the day.

OVERVIEW: Generally cool with a mix of sunny spells and showers or longer spells of rain.
Monday night: Becoming generally cloudy over eastern facing counties. Mostly dry and clear further west with just some showers near coasts though mist and fog patches will develop. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees in light southerly breezes, veering westerly.
Tuesday: Cloud will persist over eastern parts through much of the day with just a few light showers. Sunny spells further west with well scattered light showers. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate northwesterly breezes.
Tuesday night: Mostly dry and variable cloud and just a few showers near Atlantic coasts. Chilly with lowest temperatures of -1 to +4 degrees with a touch of frost. Some mist and fog patches will form too in light northerly or variable breezes.
Wednesday: Some uncertainty in the details. Current indications suggest that the west and south will see sunny spells and scattered showers, some of hail. Cloudier conditions may continue for much of the day in the north and east with some rain possibly moving in from the Irish Sea. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in mostly light northwesterly winds, more moderate for eastern facing counties. Becoming drier and clearer overnight with just a few showers, mainly in the west. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 4 degrees.
Thursday: A day of sunny spells and scattered showers with the possibility of hail and thunderstorms. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light to moderate west or southwest winds.
Further Outlook: Current indications suggest it will continue with sunny spells and showers for Friday and Saturday with similar temperatures.
