In what is another remarkable achievement by a talented group of players, the Inny FC U14 Boys team captured the Danny McGee Cup on Thursday evening in the Longford League U14 Major Final.

Inny FC were 6-0 winners on the evening.

The boys showed amazing teamwork, determination, and heart out on the pitch - a truly well-deserved victory over a gallant Kenagh Utd FC side.

Thanks to all the coaches, parents, and supporters who’ve been behind the team every step of the way. This is a proud moment for the whole club.

Inny FC U14s are in Barcelona this week taking part in the Barcelona Tournament and the talented group are then set for the Connacht Cup final next weekend in Westport, where they take on Castlebar. The following weekend is the big one as they face Kilkenny opposition - Freebooters - in the All-Ireland U14 decider, in Evergreen FC, Kilkenny. They are the first team, from the Longford district to reach both the Connacht Cup and the All-Ireland finals in the same season.

Inny FC impress in Barcelona

The Inny FC U14 side reached the semi-final of the Barcelona Tournament and won a cup for topping their group after some fine wins over Corduff FC, Tecnifutbol, and Scotland Boys Club. It was a memorable trip and a great experience for the young players and their coaches.
