Opening of new parks

The new park in Castlepollard is expected to open in June of this year; the new park in Kinnegad is due to open in August, and the Clonmellon playground is due open imminently, Cllr David Jones was informed at the April meeting of the Municipal District of Mullingar Kinnegad when he asked for an update on progress.

The response in relation to Castlepollard was qualified with the caution that its opening date depends on the weather.
