Interclub Activity
Congratulations to Joe Bracken, Tommy Lyng, Philip Hand, and the Duggan Cup team on their recent win. The team—John Plunkett & Jim Curran, Eamonn Shaw & Liam Lynam, Donald Bell & Finian Whelehan, Joe Kelly & Mick McCarthy—advance to the final next Sunday in Edenderry. All support welcome.
Junior Golf
Junior Golf concluded last Tuesday with the successful "Play in Pink" day. Thanks to all volunteers, Corey, and his team.

Gents Branch notes : Long Handicap (Thursday, 29th August)
The Long Handicap competition, sponsored by the Men’s Branch, was played over 12 holes in fine weather.

Congrats to all. The weekly 9-hole resumes on Tuesday, 3rd September. Bonus points are back, and Summer Rules remain in play.

Matchplay Competitions The finals of the Club Singles, Fourballs, and Foursomes are set, after some thrilling matches leading up to them.
Singles Final: Captain Andrew Maslin vs. Ross McKinley—two top players, sure to be a close match.
Fourball Final: Paddy Dunne & John ‘Thunder’ Keane vs. Pat Donoghue & Aidan ‘Skinner’ Tomkins—either pair could take it.
Foursomes Final:
Alan Mills & James Murphy vs. Rob Gilbert & Niall Kennedy—both teams in great form.

Inter-Club Competitions
Congrats to our Duggan Cup team, who heroically reached the final by defeating Trim (Co. Meath) last Sunday. The team: John Plunkett & Jim Curran, Kieran McGurran & Gerry Caffrey, Eamonn Shaw & Liam Lynam, Donald Bell & Finian Whelehan, Joe Kelly & Mick McCarthy. Managed by Joe Bracken, with assistance from Tommy Lyng and Philip Hand, they’ve conquered Tullamore, Mountrath, Longford, and Trim. Best of luck in the final against Edenderry next Sunday at High Noon. Let’s have a strong turnout of support.

Lady President’s Prize to the Ladies (1st September) Lady President Therese Colleary’s Prize was a great success, aided by her granddaughter Grace. A full timesheet, lovely weather, and lively clubhouse atmosphere made for a memorable day. Local music added to the celebration. Congratulations to all, especially the winner, Colette Browne, with an impressive 45 points.
