Heart of Ireland Burlesque Festival returns this weekend

The Heart of Ireland Burlesque Festival returns to Athlone this weekend for its second year.

The festival will take place from Friday September 20 to Sunday September 23 in the Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone.

The show is not only bringing Burlesque to the Dean Crowe Theatre for the first time ever, but it is also bringing award winning Pole performer's as well.

A trifecta of amazing events are set to place across the weekend, including the Sionnan Spirit Award, a gala night, and workshops with internationally renowned burlesque performer and teacher Gina Sterling.

Gina's workshops are to take place in the Boat House in Sean's Bar, which is also the first place Michelle ever performed as Miss Memphis Shell, bringing the journey full circle for the festival producer.

The festival is also set to welcome burlesque legend Gabriella Maze, who will be doing workshops over the weekend as well.

Weekend tickets for the festival are priced at €40 each, with tickets for single tickets priced at €25 each.
