The Coffee Man marks 10 years at Clonmore with charity event
The Mullingar Coffee Man is marking 10 years of trading at his current location by holding a charity coffee morning.
Frank Meredith had served customers from other locations before he settled on Clonmore, and his 10-year anniversary is Wednesday next, October 9.
Frank has many regular customers among the many businesses nearby, and a number who come out from the town in search of his freshly made sandwiches.
His coffee morning on Wednesday is in support of animal rescue charities, partly because volunteers in that area are among his customers.
“They were looking for donations, so I told them on my 10th anniversary, I’d give them whatever comes in for a full morning.”
Frank is normally open from 9am, and he says about Wednesday “if it keeps going all day, I don’t mind, I’ll keep it going all day”.
Frank says it will be donations on the day so people won’t be asked for a particular price; rather they contribute whatever they want as a donation to the charities.
