Notice of free parking in off street council car parks

In recognition of the importance of the Christmas season for the retail, hospitality and general business sectors of Mullingar, each year council members agree to the provision of free parking (off street) in council car parks for a number of days to support local retail/businesses.

It is proposed that this year, free parking (off street) in council car parks be provided for the following days in December:

• Saturday 7th

• Friday 13th

• Saturday 14th

• Friday 20th

• Saturday 21st

• Monday 23rd

It has also been agreed with Mullingar Chamber that the following two dates will be provided for free parking (off street):

• Friday November 22

• Friday November 29

On street parking will operate as normal during those times to enable traffic flow and short- term business needs are not affected.
