Tullamore event on 'the science of cats' planned for Science Week next month
Science Week will take place from November 10 to 17, and the events being organised in the Midlands will include a talk in Tullamore on 'the science of cats'.
Talk to the Paw! The science of cats, big and small will take place in the Tullamore Court Hotel on Friday, November 15, from 8pm to 9.30pm.
A description of the event states: "Cats, big and small, are endlessly fascinating, whether it's the lions of the Serengeti or the demanding little lion in your living room, the house cat.
"Join Dr Clare Meade of the Cat Hospital and Gerry Creighton of Dublin Zoo as they share stories of time spent with cats big and small. Come along and learn how to talk to the paw."
'Talk to the Paw!' is part of the Midlands Science Festival, for Science Week, and free tickets for the event can be booked on Eventbrite here.
There are several other Offaly events taking place for Science Week.
Full details of all events are available on the Midlands Science website here.
