First solo show by artist Rose Wallace running at The Atrium

A solo exhibition by Mullingar artist Rose Wallace, opens on Monday, November 4 at The Atrium, at the County Buildings, Mullingar.

The exhibition features a collection of 48 original artworks and will be on display until November 22. Entry to the exhibition is free and all are welcome.

‘My Colourful World’ is Rose’s first solo exhibition, and this vibrant showcase promises to captivate audiences with its uplifting, cheery and vivid coloured artworks, an exploration of memory, dreams, and identity.

It is a profoundly personal collection that invites viewers to notice the beauty that exists around us, in our own everyday worlds. “Each artwork is an expression of a special memory, a place, a time, a season, a colour, a love of nature, an emotion,” says Rose.

The exhibition will feature 48 original works, including acrylic, watercolour, inks, pastel, and gouache.

A wonderfully colourful collection, using a blend of traditional techniques with innovative practices. Each piece tells a unique story, drawing inspiration from the artist’s own experiences and reflections. Through vivid colours and intricate details, Rose transports the audience to a brighter world.
