Regional Hospital Mullingar opens new Outpatient Department
Regional Hospital Mullingar will open a newly built Outpatient Department on Monday, November 4.
The purpose-built facility, located opposite the main hospital entrance, is designed exclusively for Outpatient Services.
Hospital management aim to enhance patient flow and improve overall service capacity at the hospital.
The new Outpatient Department features a designated drop-off area for patients; parking will be available in the existing car park, and the ticket machine is located at the main entrance.
Outpatient appointments will be carried out in the new Outpatient Department from Monday (November 4).
Niamh Reeder, interim hospital manager, Regional Hospital Mullingar, said: “We are delighted to open our newly built Outpatient Department in Regional Hospital Mullingar. It is a great development that will enhance the patient experience and improve efficiencies for every individual receiving care in our hospital.
“I would like to thank all of the staff that have helped this project come to fruition, it is a great achievement for all involved.
“Service users attending will receive details in appointment letters issued by the Hospital and can ask a member of staff for directions on site if needed.”
