Cronin set to rock The Stables
Cronin are looking forward to playing Smiddys The Stables Mullingar this Friday night, November 22, joining in the venue's 35th anniversary celebrations.
There has been a long-standing relationship between Cronin and The Stables, and the venue holds some outstanding memories for the band.
"We first played the Stables back in 2006 and it's given us many magic nights since then, playing with the likes of the mighty Steve Craddock of Ocean Colour Scene who joined us for The First Kiss Of Love album launch," says Johnny Cronin.
He also recalls hosting Alan McGee, head of Creation Records for a Q&A session with Ronan Casey; Paul Gallagher spinning the discs for them after one of their rocking Christmas gigs, as well as launching Cronin's top 10 Aftermath album, Friendlier Up Here.
Cronin will be rocking the back room again this Friday, with support from Naosán Moore, and Kealan Geoghegan, and tickets, at €15, are available at the door, or online via ticketailor.com
