Moate Business College holds graduation ceremony

Moate Business College recently held its graduation ceremony for students that completed their QQI Level 5 and 6 certificates.

The graduation was held on Friday, November 15, at The Radisson Hotel in Athlone, with Rachel Duffy, 2022 Rose of Tralee and former student of Moate Community School, as the special guest speaker on the night.

The graduating class represented a diverse group of students who had completed qualifications in areas such as Art & Design, Sport, Anatomy & Nutrition, Software Development, Creative Media, Tourism, Business & IT, Digital Marketing, Childcare with Special Needs Assisting, Applied Social Studies, and Nursing.

In her address at the graduation ceremony, Moate Business College Director Olive Costello noted that the ceremony celebrated not only the student’s achievements, hard work and dedication but also their personal growth, dedication, commitment and the promise of a bright future ahead. She encouraged the graduates to continue their journey of learning and growth as they enter the workforce or pursue higher education.

Moate Business College has been providing Further Education courses for over 30 years. Many of this year’s graduates have progressed on to university, using their QQI qualifications to access various courses in some of Ireland's leading third-level educational institutions.
