Free parking in Mullingar today

Shoppers in Mullingar can avail of free parking today (Friday, November 29) in all car parks operated by Westmeath County Council.

In recognition of the importance of the Christmas season for the retail, hospitality and general business sectors of Mullingar, each year council members agree to the provision of free parking (off street) in council car parks for a number of days to support local retail/businesses.

This year, free parking (off street) will also be provided on the following days in December:

• Saturday 14

• Friday 20

• Saturday 21

• Monday 23

On street parking will operate as normal during those times to enable traffic flow and short- term business needs are not affected.
