Fast food giant applies for planning for Mullingar drive-thru

McDonald's has applied for planning permission for a drive-thru restaurant in Mullingar.

The application submitted this week includes details for a single storey drive-thru restaurant in Lakepoint Retail Park.

Permission is also being sought for the reconfiguration of the existing car park in the retail park, including the installation of new pedestrian crossings.

The decision due date for the application is February 14.
