Committee seeking help as preparations for Delvin St Patrick’s parade begin

The committee for the Delvin St Patrick’s parade, which is scheduled for March 16, are expanding the opportunities for community involvement in this year’s festivities.

Chairman David Jones said: “As we prepare for this year’s event, we invite local residents and organisations to contribute their ideas and support. The parade promises to be a great day out and we want that feeling once and the committee are seeking creative theme suggestions from the community to enhance the parade experience.”

Groups and individuals interested in entering a float are asked to contact the committee for more information at 0858171671.

David added: “Volunteers are badly needed. The success of the parade relies on the dedication of volunteers, and those willing to assist on the day of the event are invited to join our team. As part of our community celebration, we are collecting St Patrick’s Parade photos from Delvin and we encourage everyone to share their memories.

“The committee are eager to involve as many members of the community as possible to ensure a memorable and enjoyable parade.”
